What I did
brand identity web design graphic design
Background
Globally, the built environment is responsible for 39% of CO2 emissions and 30% of the world’s waste. Adaptavate was founded to change this. They develop carbon-negative construction materials – using carbon capture and utilisation – with circularity at the core.
Having created cutting-edge new production techniques, Adaptavate needed to rebrand and redesign their website to attract new investment and customers globally.
The work followed my standard process:
Research
- Audit of existing brand identity and assets
- Competitor research
- Questionnaires and discussions with the Adaptavate team
Verbal identity
- Assisting in writing vision and mission statements
- Defining the brand ‘personality’
- Helping to craft the elevator pitch, strapline and key messages
Visual identity
- Designing the new logo
- Defining a new colour palette and typefaces
- Creating brand identity guidelines
Web design
- Site and content plan
- Visual design
- Web development with my associate, Mike Harrison
- Fast, low-carbon site
Graphic design
- Business cards
- Letterhead
- PowerPoint template
- Social media graphic templates
