Background
Severn Wye are a charity tackling climate change and fuel poverty, by addressing energy – energy efficiency of homes and buildings, encouraging the uptake of renewable energy and influencing energy policy. As the part-time Graphic Designer at the charity, I was tasked with designing their 2020–2022 Impact Report, showcasing their work and positive impact.
Report
Working with the Communications Manager, the report, as the name suggests, is impactful, with large punchy information and pull-quotes. It also works for both types of audience. The ‘flicker’, who wants bite-size summaries, to get the gist of the content. And the ‘reader’, who wants to be able to read the content, without visual distractions getting in the way.
The document is 72 pages long, with one half in English and one half in Welsh.
